LEVEL 1 / Beginner

For beginner students with no or little experience in yoga. The basic postures in Iyengar yoga provide students with the fundamentals to enable them to go further in their yoga. Students will also learn how to manage their limitations and be given instruction in using props where needed, to help facilitate the pose. It is designed for anyone regardless of age or condition.

LEVEL 2 / Intermediate

Students with a minimum of 2 years experience in Iyengar hatha yoga. By this time students would have some self-reliance in sequences of postures (asana) and breathing (pranayama). They are able to follow the teacher in a led practice and work to their own limits.

LEVEL 3 / Experienced

Students have already gained a detailed understanding in postures (asana) and breathing techniques (pranayama). They have a consistent home practice.

LED PRACTICES

(Level 2 and above)
Led practices are designed for students to work to their own limitations, encouraging a more independent and responsible approach to their practice. While practising alongside the teacher, individual guidance is offered specifically to each practitioner, when needed. Some technical information may be given.

PRIVATE CLASS

One on one tuition, recommended if you have never done yoga before and have some concerns. The class is tailored especially to the individual.
